The Kalendar Symbol
A woman and man quarrel over the contents of a very ancient book.
In mathematics, a quotient is a number obtained by dividing one number by another. Division of positive numbers produces varying amounts, always smaller than the original quantity (unless dividing by 1). When human beings encounter division and reducing quantities of valuable goods, quotients occur by degrees of characteristics (a quotient of misery, a quotient of injustice, etc.). The soul perceives a Void like a quarry in the Earth in the face of such quotients. In human relations, a quarrel may break out over divisions among that which is truly without division. Angry and heated arguments are a common outcome when important matters are at stake. They may give rise to unexpected outcomes, sometimes better and sometimes worse.
