The Kalendar Symbol
A famous pianist giving a concert performance. Meanwhile, a critic in the audience takes notes.
As the famous musician delivered a Concerto Apocalyptica on an upright piano, many audience members listened with appreciation and appraisal. Some loved the atmosphere, the suppleness of the phrases. Others regarded the playing’s detail, refinement, and beauty. One critic concentrated on how slower, gentler pedal changes could have given the piece a more fluid texture and graceful complexion. Afterwards, the pianist breathed a sigh of relief. His feelings of oppression were gone, sublimated in an uplifting melody and dynamic changes in tempo.
