The Kalendar Symbol
A young woman waits with excitement for the arrival of a sailboat.
As we watch her sitting on a ledge overlooking the harbor, she fascinates us. Her excitement grows visibly as a sailboat begins its arrival. As if there were butterflies in her stomach, she trembles and grows weak. Her palms sweat and her heart flutters. We wonder who she is going to meet, or if she is set to embark on the boat herself. Her experience is one we can relate to viscerally, for as she expresses her own feelings, they affect our own.
