The Kalendar Symbol
A gallant lover serenades his or her beloved.
Unconscious forces now operate through projection, especially idealization of others. Idols are created which manifest outwardly the disowned parts of one’s true identity. Affections are showered upon others without regard for a spiritual context. It probably feels a bit sketchy. Romance becomes a vehicle for obtaining wholeness, but it inevitably disappoints. Love has not yet obtained the moral ideal of mutually aware and conscious relationship; it is distorted through the passions.
