The Kalendar Symbol
The tiger’s roar rouses the cats to battle. The leopard suppresses its self-interest and leaps into the air.
The Divine has settled into a dwelling place, but it is far from sedate. Lively as a roaring tiger and capable of commanding enormous forces of Chaos and Negativity into new forms of feminine power (Shakti), the Shikaina (Shekhinah) consorts with Yahweh like the Solomon Islands rises courageously out of the vast Pacific Ocean. Listen to the tiger’s roar. What are you willing to do and what risks are you willing to take in the service of Existence itself, so that Death does not overwhelm the Goodness of Being?
