The Kalendar Symbol
A shelled gastropod moves on the edge of a tree trunk, excreting a slimy mucous as it goes.
Spirit’s descent arrives in solid form. Slow and slim. Sluggish and sloppy. Sorrowful and sorry. The inchoate Word of God forms a Sutra. Self-sense arrives into a state combining safety with settlement, sadness and satisfaction. So many opposites no longer separate, but far from the Source. As the slug or snail crawls along its path; as the snake slithers; as the mollusk gropes along the seashore, something comes this way that has never been seen before. If we slow down enough, shushed and shut up, we may hear a new song.
