The Kalendar Symbol
A man exits a dark forest after having killed.
Sin and soot uncleansed by successful social deeds leave a terrible stain in the evening. The sediment hardens under cool temperatures and snowfall. Satori is unattained or incomplete, intensifying awareness of samsara. The deeds of the savior have not eliminated sin. In the dark wood, a sacrifice is made. The smell of shadow unseen. A sagging sack. Eve’s regret. The curvature of the snake, like a swan’s neck. If it is not confronted, evil will eventually strike. There is too much unevenness still in the air; much remains to be evened out. In the darkness, look to the sutras. There there is sanity at last.
