The Kalendar Symbol

The possibility for one to gain experience at two levels of being: awareness and memory.

Commentary

As the sun dips below the horizon, as the grape shrivels into the raisin, the bodymind ages and becomes less agile. The river breaks through a damaged dam. Nature runs a course to unwind the orderly arrangement of the Zeitgeist, establishing a new imperative for existence. In such times, the mind turns to concentration and memory to hold on to the perishing ephemera that represent to us what we have loved and lost.
